The Farm

Morsada w/ Edina Monsoon FOA

Fair Oak Farm is located in the heart of the “Arabian Neighborhood” in beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, California. The focus of our breeding program is our straight Egyptian foundation mare, Morsada (*Asadd+++ ex Morgana by *Morafic) and emphasizes her tail female line of *Bint Maisa El Saghira crossed into the *El Shaklan and Padrons Psyche sire lines.  The females from this cross are bred back to stallions featuring various intensities of *Estopa in their pedigree as well as straight Egyptian stallions. We strive to create a classic and exotic look in our horses, with overall balance and freedom of motion topped off with a beautiful head, expressive eyes and a people-friendly disposition.

We are exceptionally pleased with Amir Shaklan,  our 2005 Om El Shahmaan colt out of Asdiqa Badeia [*Sanadik El Shaklan ex Morsada] now owned by and standing at Dahabi Arabians in Montana. Fair Oak Farm has retained lifetime breeding rights to AMIR SHAKLAN. For more information please visit his website With three crosses to the immortal *Estopa, Amir Shaklan is a classic example of the “Golden” Spanish-Egyptian cross.

Fair Oak continues to be competitive in the performance horse divisions, as well. Magniffique won several prestigious  titles in Country Pleasure and Show Hack at the Scottsdale & Pacific Slopes Championship shows, with Nancy in the saddle.  Magniffique is now owned by DJ Mione and will be competing this year with in Half-Arab Hunter Pleasure AOTR.

We always welcome an opportunity to share and show our horses, do give us a call if you plan on visiting Santa Ynez Valley.
